Course Design
Initially designed by revered Golf pioneers and Golf Hall of Famer George Cumming and Stanley Thompson, Windermere Golf & Country Club is nestled amongst towering tall pines and magnificent granite outcroppings. This 18-Hole championship course is player friendly to all levels of ability yet is a challenge for the most experienced golfer.
This course has changed little from the original vision of its designers. A challenge for all levels of golfer, its enjoyment as a historic traditional golf experience can be enjoyed within a 4 hour period.
Rules of Play
Windermere Golf & Country Club is a soft-spike-only course with facilities available for Members and guests to change non-regulated shoes to spikeless. The Dress Code in effect is standard Golf attire and cut-off shorts, jogging pants, yoga pants or halter tops are not-permitted.
Reserving Tee Times
- Members may book tee times 7 Days in advance Full Schedule
- Green Fee guests may book 5 Days in advance post 11:00am
- Non-booked Member times are released 24 Hours in advance for Green Fee Play
- Groups wishing to book more than 9 players may book as a tournament in advance with the Pro Shop.
Windermere Golf & Country Club enforces all NGCOA Regulations. Carry-on alcoholic beverages are not permitted as the Clubhouse operates a Food & Beverage cart service. In non-peak periods, Take Out Orders for both food and beverage can be prepared by our Snack Bar facility.
